Claim Representative

Summary

You will handle a variety of personal and commercial property claims, interacting with customers, evaluating coverage, and managing claim files. This role requires 1-5 years of experience in the insurance industry and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with a background in insurance or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 1-5 years of experience handling personal and commercial property claims

Responsibilities

• Interact with our customers through phone, text, and email to gather and investigate claim facts, collecting data and documentation on all assigned claims
• Evaluate coverage and estimate damage for our customer in order to settle claims fairly and in a timely manner
• Manage the claim file and any involvement by vendors, experts, and Independent Adjusters
• Work with Personal and Commercial Underwriting to identify any risk related issues
• Maintain good relationships with agents, policyholders, and all company personnel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Estimating Software – Symbility preferred
• Knowledge of Claim Handling System (Guidewire ClaimCenter a plus)
