Requirements
- Bachelorβs Degree with a background in insurance or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 1-5 years of experience handling personal and commercial property claims
Responsibilities
- Interact with our customers through phone, text, and email to gather and investigate claim facts, collecting data and documentation on all assigned claims
- Evaluate coverage and estimate damage for our customer in order to settle claims fairly and in a timely manner
- Manage the claim file and any involvement by vendors, experts, and Independent Adjusters
- Work with Personal and Commercial Underwriting to identify any risk related issues
- Maintain good relationships with agents, policyholders, and all company personnel
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Estimating Software β Symbility preferred
- Knowledge of Claim Handling System (Guidewire ClaimCenter a plus)
