Claims Adjuster

Summary

Wagmo is seeking a Claims Adjuster to manage claims from FNOL through resolution, maintain clear lines of communication with various parties, and ensure compliance with best practices and regulations. The role requires an active Property & Casualty (P&C) license, 3+ years of claims adjusting experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office products and claims-related software, and strong communication skills.

Requirements

• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
• 3+ years of claims adjusting experience in the insurance industry

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze and report on claim performance: claims inventory, cycle time, processing and quality SLAs, to assure conformity with company objectives and continuous improvement
• Handle phone calls, emails, and chat messages from policyholders
• Model ethical behavior and execute job responsibilities in accordance with Wagmo’s mission, vision, and core values
• Execute policies and procedures to assure compliance to best practices, claims management services standards, state regulations, and client service requirements
• Promptly manage all aspects of claim settlement including investigation, correspondence, negotiation, and settlement
• Provide appropriate reporting on files to the Claims Manager and/or Sr. Management with recommendations on reserving, plan of action, and current evaluation as required
