Summary
Join Integrated Specialty Coverages (ISC), a leading Insurtech company, as a Claims Administrator. You will manage and process claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance. This role involves liaising with internal departments, clients, and vendors for timely claim resolution. You will investigate claim details, maintain accurate records, and communicate claim status updates. Additionally, you will identify and escalate complex claims, collaborate with other teams, and contribute to process improvements. Conduct loss analysis and report on loss trends to support underwriting. Build and develop standard operating practices surrounding internal reporting to business leaders.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in claims administration, insurance, legal, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and claims processing software
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Review and process incoming claims in accordance with ISC policies and contractual requirements
- Investigate claim details by gathering relevant documentation, conducting interviews, and coordinating with internal stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records of all claims activity in ISC systems
- Communicate claim status and decisions to internal teams and external partners
- Identify and escalate complex or high-risk claims to the appropriate leaders or legal team
- Collaborate with finance, legal, and customer service teams to ensure claim resolutions are handled effectively
- Assist with audits, reporting, and performance tracking of claims metrics
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process gaps or inefficiencies
- Build and develop standard operating practices surrounding internal reporting to business leader
- Conduct loss analysis and report on loss trends for all products to support underwriting in betterments and improvements so aide in profitable policy placement
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Business, Risk Management, or a related field
- Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., healthcare, finance, insurance)
- Familiarity with contract language and policy interpretation
- Bilingual skills are a plus
