Join Coalition's Claims team as an experienced claims professional to handle intricate cyber, tech, and media claims. You will evaluate claims, manage vendors, and collaborate with underwriters and brokers. Responsibilities include intake of severe cyber events, assessing liability and damage, and identifying settlement opportunities. The ideal candidate possesses 4+ years of experience in handling cyber, tech, and/or media claims and litigation. Requirements
- 4+ years of experience handling cyber, tech, and/or media claims and litigation
- Demonstrated experience to work as part of a team, interact with others, meet goals, and successfully perform in a changing work environment
- Excellent communication and interactive experience
- Team-oriented with aptitude to excel in a collegial environment but work proactively
Responsibilities
- Handle the intake of severe cyber events, including the coordination with breach counsel, forensic investigators and other vendors
- Evaluate full pending of claims in affiliation with the posting and recommending accurate reserves
- Handle litigation including 3rd party liability arising from security failure or data breaches, Media and Tech E&O
- Maintain accurate file documentation/information in our claims system
- Assess liability and damage data in affiliation with intricate claims, maintain appropriate documentation
- Assess insurance coverage issues
- Intelligently guide and track third-party vendors and service providers work and spend
- Maintain and develop relationships with brokers, various positions within an insured's business including: risk managers, general counsels, and a variety of vendors
- Identify settlement opportunities to maximize impact
- Collaborate in the defense and resolution of claims
- Provide data and reason based-informational assistance to underwriters
- Provide assistance to business development with regard to marketing, client presentations, sales discussions
- Liaise with partner carriers on a daily basis
- Maintain and develop relationships with brokers, various positions within an insuredsโ business including: risk managers, general counsels, and a variety of vendors
- Lead client engagement including table top exercises, whether delivered by Coalition or vendors
- Ensuring the global claims team is aware and trained regularly in specific claims handling concerns in Germany as well as other EEA countriesย as Coalition expands its geographical footprint
Preferred Qualifications
- Legally qualified in Germany or France
- Background in handling wider financial lines claims, including D&O
- Cybersecurity investigation background
- Experience with handling European and US cyber incidents
