Requirements

  • Masterโ€™s degree (or higher) in education or related field
  • 5+ years professional experience in the field of education
  • Certified CLASS Observer
  • Experience providing professional development and support to education professionals
  • Knowledge of current trends in early-childhood education research and practice
  • Team player who shares problem-solving responsibilities and offers creative responses to new challenges
  • Ability to translate research into practice
  • Ability to provide feedback that is both directive and supportive
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven training and facilitation skills
  • Experience using Google Suites, Canvas, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other Microsoft Programs
  • Up to 50-75% travel based on professional development support work loads

Responsibilities

  • Train and provide ongoing support to participants/clients as they deliver Teachstoneโ€™s programs
  • Deliver and contribute to observer support programs/services (e.g., calibration, double coding)
  • Collaborate with other CLASS Specialists to ensure quality implementation of services
  • Contribute to the development and revision of program materials
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for other internal teams
  • Achieve and maintain reliability for all CLASS age-levels assigned
  • Other duties as needed to support Teachstone as the organization matures
