Summary
Join phData, a leading data stack company, as a Client Account Lead focusing on driving growth and profitability within a portfolio of restaurant and food services accounts. You will build and maintain executive relationships, ensuring client success and high satisfaction. This role requires strong consulting experience, deep industry knowledge, and the ability to navigate complex environments. You will be responsible for developing and executing growth plans, delivering on revenue targets, and representing phData at industry events. Requirements
- 10+ years of consulting experience in your vertical (deep in-house industry experience will be considered in lieu of consulting)
- Proven success owning a strategic portfolio through significant growth. Strong domain knowledge in Restaurant & Food Services with the ability to engage in meaningful business and technology discussions—not just sell services
- A track record of building and sustaining executive relationships across client organizations
- Credibility built on tenure and success—you've had at least one long, high-impact role and can speak to measurable results
- Experience navigating matrixed environments and influencing cross-functional teams
- Value-Driven Communicator: You ask the right questions, identify business pain, and connect the dots to phData’s services with clarity and insight
- Detail-Oriented Operator: You deliver polished, high-quality work and never assume someone else is handling the details
- Relationship Builder: You’re authentic, solutions-focused, and establish deep trust with both clients and internal teams
- Strategic Thinker & Doer: You know when to roll up your sleeves and when to lead from the front; you take full ownership of your accounts and outcomes
- Order Maker, Not Order Taker: You proactively shape opportunities and influence client strategy, rather than reacting to RFPs or task-based asks
- Agile Learner: You thrive in a fast-paced, evolving landscape and are always leveling up your understanding of market trends and emerging technologies
Responsibilities
- Drive Account Strategy: Work with a team of talented leaders for a portfolio of key accounts within your vertical, developing and executing growth plans that align with client goals and phData’s capabilities
- Drive Revenue & Profitability: Deliver targets in annual bookings with a focus on long-term value and account expansion
- Build Executive Relationships: Cultivate trusted advisor status with CxOs and senior business leaders; lead strategic discussions across business and IT stakeholders
- Champion Client Success: Ensure successful delivery and high client satisfaction across all engagements; collaborate with delivery, operations, and finance on performance metrics
- Elevate Our Brand: Represent phData at industry events, conferences, and panels, helping grow our presence and reputation within your vertical
- Leverage Partnerships: Identify opportunities with key alliance partners to deepen relationships and accelerate growth
- Drive Account Performance and Growth: Collaborate with delivery, operations, finance, and Go-to-Market teams to review metrics, implement strategic business plans, and expand partnerships
