Summary

You will drive the client experience from inquiry, client service setup, completion of necessary documentation, and handoff to scheduled clinician prior to the first appointment.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required
  • Strong computer skills
  • Associate Degree preferred
  • Healthcare experience preferred
  • Intake experience strongly preferred
  • Medical office and HIPAA experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Directly support new clients in scheduling their first appointment through the phone, email and request form
  • Verifying insurance benefits during the intake process
  • Ensuring co-pay amounts are selected at time of intake
  • Creating portal accounts
  • Assisting in answering phone calls
  • Working collaboratively with the Practice Management and Clinical Leadership teams to ensure proper utilization and schedule management
  • Strategic scheduling for new services when requested by the psychiatry team
