Join Dudek as a Client Services Manager and cultivate strong client relationships to expand project portfolios in the Southeast. This part-time, fully remote position (Florida) requires fostering client connections, promoting teamwork and quality service, and ensuring the quality of Dudek's work products. You will lead client presentations, proposals, and strategy formulation, actively participate in team development, and achieve business plan targets. The ideal candidate possesses 15+ years of experience in environmental consulting, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience, and a Florida PE registration. This role demands strong business development and client management skills within environmental and engineering services.
Requirements
- 15+ years’ experience in environmental consulting or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, biology, planning, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Experience with business development and client management in environmental and engineering services
- Registered PE in Florida
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have active personal automobile liability insurance by the first day of employment
Responsibilities
- Foster client connections through existing relationships and proactive business development while working with other colleagues to anticipate and pursue client strategies
- Promote a culture of teamwork, engagement, quality service, and customer satisfaction to our clients
- Enhance Dudek’s professional reputation and demonstrate the ability to be creative and innovative while representing Dudek in a professional manner
- Provide QA/QC of Dudek-prepared work products and mentorship on methods to improve technical reports and permitting documents
- Achieve business plan targets by leading new client pursuits, maintaining existing client relations, and diversifying services
- Lead client interview presentations, proposals, and strategy formulation
- Actively engage in team development by identifying and recruiting talent to meet existing client needs and expand into new services opportunities
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in federal and state regulatory processes, including NEPA compliance, Endangered Species Act (ESA), Clean Water Act (CWA), and land use planning
- Strong technical writing and research skills as well as solid written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with an interest in learning and growing as a leader in client business development strategies
- Understanding of budgeting, financial tracking, and profitability
