Summary
Join EnergyHub's Client Success team as a Client Success Manager and help electric utilities solve grid challenges by engaging customers with connected devices. You will manage client relationships, program launches, and ensure seamless operations. This role requires strong communication, project management, and analytical skills within the renewable energy sector. You will be a trusted advisor to clients, helping them achieve their goals and creatively solving problems. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, self-starter, and effective multi-tasker with a passion for client success and software products. Requirements
- Have experience working in or with renewable energy, utilities, grid services or adjacent industries (cleantech / climate tech)
- Possess proactive communication skills and the ability to describe complex and technical topics in an engaging and succinct manner
- Have the ability to build trust and outstanding client and partner relationships with a clear track record of success working directly with clients, including managing client expectations
- Have project management experience with the ability to multitask, hit deadlines, and think through risk and dependencies
- Possess an analytical, yet creative and curious mind, with a self assured approach to numbers and spreadsheets
- Have good judgment in a business context
- Have experience working with a team in a cross-functional, fast paced work environment
- Have experience managing multiple high-priority projects and the ability to make multi-tasking look effortless
- Be willing and available to be on call several weeks per year for after-hours emergency client escalations
Responsibilities
- Be a Client Success advocate: Be the project manager for program launches and manage multi-faceted programs with device partners, clients and internal teams. Ensure day-to-day program operations are seamless and client goals and needs are top of mind for the organization
- Be a trusted advisor who helps clients achieve their goals: Manage internal expectations as well as those of your clients and prioritize program tasks/activities using business judgment to balance internal needs with client goals. Spend time mastering and driving clientsโ needs and growth targets and guiding them through key choices to design programs that support these targets. Partner with Sales to assist with successful renewals and expansions in your clientsโ accounts. Creatively problem-solve when difficult situations arise and resolve operational obstacles
- Be an effective communicator and storyteller: Investigate and present key results, facilitate meetings, and deliver nuanced technical and data driven messages to clients. Maintain consistent and frequent communication with an array of stakeholders including clients and device partners to ensure efficient program implementation, review ongoing needs, and provide timely solutions and recommendations to help achieve program success
- Be a product and service expert: Develop a comprehensive knowledge of demand management, DERs, and the drivers of program success. Foster a deep insight of the product, service offerings and functionality to effectively communicate capabilities to clients, shape program design and provide training to client program teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Have a BS or BA degree
- Be interested in the regulatory aspects of energy markets, operators and utilities
