Summary
Join Atropos Health as a Clinical Analyst and leverage our unique technology stack to deliver custom analytics for life science and health system customers. You will translate inbound informatics queries into well-defined clinical questions using medical ontologies and free text. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders, running custom analytics, supporting process improvements, and presenting findings. This contractor position requires prior analyst experience, a quantitative background, and deep knowledge of clinical terminology standards. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential. Requirements
- Prior experience working as an analyst at a health system/life science firm/consulting firm/or financial institution
- Quantitative background, including but not limited to clinical informatics, bioinformatics, computer science, statistics, applied math, physics, or engineering
- Familiarity with manipulating and analyzing data in SQL, Python, or R
- >2 years of prior history in consulting
- High degree of critical thinking and independent problem solving
- Ability to work with a team of highly skilled experts
- Strong written and oral communication skills. Fluency in oral and written english is required
- You must be able to with standard business hours within the US time zone (8AM - 8PM EST)
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with life science stakeholders, physicians, clinical researchers to address hypotheses across various disease and treatment areas leveraging the Atropos platform
- Run custom analytics using Atropos Health proprietary technology stack + industry standard tools and analysis packages
- Support efforts to improve Atropos consult delivery process
- Present or co-present collaborative work at conferences and authoring articles within peer reviewed journal
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of clinical terminology standards (ICD, CPT, SNOMED, LOINC, etc)
- Formal clinical training or experience working in a health system
- Track record of producing published work (peer reviewed manuscripts or poster/podium presentations)
