Requirements
- Possess a Bachelorโs degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively manage relationships with key customer groups and CVRx staff
- Master concepts of a medical and surgical nature, as well as that of active implantable medical device technology
- Be an independent, self-motivated, self-starter with the drive and persistence to introduce a novel and innovative technology to the market and support it becoming the standard of care
- Be detail-oriented and able to work independently
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn Salesforce, content management, learning management, and other systems as needed
Responsibilities
- Effectively communicate product and clinical benefits of Barostim therapy to cardiologists, heart failure/hypertension specialists, and cardiac/vascular surgeons
- Facilitate trainings and other programs on proper application of Barostim therapy to clinicians, office, and hospital staff
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting during implant procedures, follow-up procedures, titrations, and patient office visits
- Work with Territory Managers in developing effective plans to communicate the benefits of our technology, tailored to specific markets
- Work with Territory Managers, key physicians and site staff in the development and execution of a plan to effectively launch CVRx programs at new customer sites and ensure ongoing commitment to the program
- Drive utilization and continuous expansion of Barostim therapy through disease state education and supporting the development of therapeutic programs
- Act as a clinical interface between the medical community and the business
- Meet with existing and potential health care providers to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care, providing creative and feasible solutions
- Adhere to sales management processes and reporting systems usage, including maintaining an accurate record of devices and programmers at all times in Salesforce
- Provide additional back-up support to other field staff as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Possess an advanced degree
- Have experience with products for cardiology or cardiac surgery therapeutic devices
- Have healthcare experience
- Possess knowledge of heart failure or cardiovascular market with clear understanding of competitive devices, strategies, advantages/disadvantages as they relate to the companyโs devices
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office and Salesforce, with the demonstrated ability to quickly learn content management, learning management and other systems as needed
- Be able to interact with R&D to represent customer perspective in order to provide input on product enhancements and new product development
