Cloud Engineering Manager

Join Gogolook, a leading TrustTech company, as Cloud Engineering Manager to lead an R&D team in developing high-quality KYC and anti-scam SaaS products/projects. You will guide the team with backend and data pipeline ETL-related development tasks, ensuring technical and professional growth.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
• At least 8 years of experience in cloud-related software development and architecture, with at least 2 years of team management experience
• Familiarity with AWS cloud platform and services and backend programming languages such as Golang and Python
• Experience with serverless, micro-service architecture and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Excellent leadership ability, inspiring and guiding teams and promoting collaboration and team cohesion
• Excellent communication and coordination skills can adapt to a remote working environment
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, able to respond quickly and find solutions to reduce business risk
• Positive attitude, ownership, high sense of responsibility, and ability to work under pressure. Ability to switch tasks smoothly and adapt to diverse tasks and challenges

Responsibilities

• Guide, coach, and motivate team members, ensuring continuous technical and professional growth
• Engage in daily team activities, optimizing process efficiency and achieving schedule and quality standards
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and communicate effectively across departments and in a remote work environment
• Collaborate with the engineering team and product project managers to create technical plans for cloud-related functionalities, ensuring scalability, stability, and efficiency of solutions
• Participate in architecting and designing cloud-related functionalities to ensure compliance and best practices
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure accurate transmission of information and instructions and maintain cooperation and cohesion within the remote team
• Stay updated with the latest cloud technology trends and best practices and apply this knowledge in project development
• Lead the team in managing faults and emergencies in the production environment, ensuring timely problem resolution and high system availability
• Actively cooperate with the product team, business development team, QA team, data analysis team, and other related departments, ensuring effective cross-departmental communication and collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

Has experience in anti-scam technology, especially in developing products or solutions that can identify scams related to messages, web pages, and virtual currencies
