Cloud Operations Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Cloud Operations Engineer at Bitstamp, where the primary focus will be designing and maintaining blockchain-based systems. The role involves ensuring stability and availability of the Bitstamp platform, providing and maintaining application runtime environments, developing and maintaining deployment pipelines, and more. Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience maintaining highly performant, low latency web services
• Experience with Linux, Bash, Python and Git
• Experience maintaining web servers (Apache, Nginx)
• Experience with infrastructure as code (AWS CloudFormation, Ansible playbooks)
• Experience administrating and using relational databases like MySQL and in-memory key value stores like Redis and Memcache
• Experience with AWS and information security best practices
• Active knowledge of English

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certification
• Operational familiarity with Atlassian products such as Jira / Bitbucket / Confluence
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins / Automaton controller
