Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience maintaining highly performant, low latency web services
• Experience with Linux, Bash, Python and Git
• Experience maintaining web servers (Apache, Nginx)
• Experience with infrastructure as code (AWS CloudFormation, Ansible playbooks)
• Experience administrating and using relational databases like MySQL and in-memory key value stores like Redis and Memcache
• Experience with AWS and information security best practices
• Active knowledge of English

Responsibilities

• Ensure stability and availability of the Bitstamp platform
• Provide and maintain application runtime environments
• Develop and maintain application deployment pipelines
• Provide and maintain logging, monitoring and alerting infrastructure
• Provide operational and technical support for engineering teams
• Provide regular application deploys and application environment changes
• Join operational on-call rotation

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certification
• Operational familiarity with Atlassian products such as Jira / Bitbucket / Confluence
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins / Automaton controller
