Cloud & Virtualization Senior Technical Consultant

Join our partner, an established family office, as a Cloud & Virtualization Senior Technical Consultant, a consulting position offering project-based hours. You will lead team engagements, architect cloud and virtualization solutions, and ensure seamless implementation into a new product designed to revolutionize authentication and cloud security. This role involves working closely with a software engineer, a data scientist, and a security consultant to build a product that optimizes cloud authentication and security. Your expertise will guide the team in making informed technology investment decisions and maximizing their cloud capabilities for enhanced performance and scalability.

Requirements

• Proven capabilities to architect scalable, secure cloud solutions and guide their implementation
• In-depth knowledge and proficiency in cloud computing platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, ESX)
• Proficiency with virtualization technologies such as VMware, KVM, Hyper-V, or similar but with hands on development
• Strong understanding of containerization, microservices, and DevOps practices
• Strong background in cloud migration strategies and tools
• Experience in scripting and automation using PowerShell, CloudFormation, or Terraform
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and compliance considerations in the cloud
• Solid understanding and interest in staying updated on emerging cloud trends and technologies
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members
• Ability to manage the project and adhere to deadlines
• Customer-focused mindset, dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions
• Aptitude for mentorship and training junior team members
