Cobol Developer

Requirements

• Have experience with mainframe programming in COBOL
• Have a wide understanding of developing, designing, coding, and testing changes to enterprise software applications
• Have in-depth understanding of project management and software development cycle
• Have vast knowledge of business processes, with experience in healthcare a major plus
• Have familiarity with Scaled Agile methodology
• Have Databases experience: VSAM
• Have experience in documenting systems and programs enhanced, developed and implemented
• Be proficient in Tools: ISPF, ENDEVOR, IBM Debugger, and JES2
• Be proficient in Productivity Software: Google Suite products, Confluence, and JIRA
• Be a US Citizen and able to work domestically
• Be able to attain low-level security clearance
• Have a Bachelor’s Degree

Responsibilities

• Work closely with our engineering and product development teams by facilitating positive inbound and outbound communications with our customers along with related technical support activities
• Work on a variety of items such as incoming customer requests for information or assistance, outgoing communication to prospective customers to offer insight and education about our platform and technical tasks to configure setup for customers
• Define coding standards to ensure code integrity

Preferred Qualifications

Have experience with Java, REXX/CLIST, IDz, IWS, and/or GitHub
