Summary
Join Contrast Security, a leader in Runtime Application Security, as a commercial sales professional. You will prospect, develop, and close new mid-market/small enterprise customers for Contrastโs application security software products. Responsibilities include attaining quarterly and annual sales goals, selling the Contrast Security vision, managing prospect evaluations, and developing territory account plans. You will need 3+ years of full-cycle sales experience in the software/technology sector, experience in cyber-security or SecOps preferred, and a proven track record of exceeding quotas. A BS/BA degree is preferred, as well as Sandler Selling certification. Contrast offers a collaborative environment focused on innovation and success.
Requirements
- 3+ years of full-cycle sales experience, or equivalent quota-crushing role, in the software/technology sector; experience in cyber-security or SecOps preferred (EDR, CNAPP, XDR, CDR et al)
- Experience managing and closing NEW business within the mid-market/small enterprise
- Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10% of the company) in past positions
- Strong computer skills, including Salesforce.com, Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets), and other sales platforms
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Responsibilities
- Prospect, develop, and close new mid-market/small enterprise customers for Contrastโs application security software products in a defined territory
- Attain quarterly and annual goals and quota targets
- A passion for winning, the ability to lead by example while displaying gratitude in your attitude every day
- Sell the Contrast Security vision to prospects through product demonstrations, events, and target-specific initiatives
- Qualify opportunities and allocate time and resources accordingly
- Manage mid-market/small enterprise prospect evaluations, proof of concepts, and any RFP/RFIs
- Develop and execute territory & account plans to deliver maximum revenue potential, manage sales activities and updates, and create and deliver accurate forecasts in Salesforce.com
- Ability to solve complex business problems for our customers
- Work cross-functionally with extended team members
- Ensure a positive prospect/customer experience and make our customers successful
Preferred Qualifications
- BS/BA degree preferred
- Sandler Selling certified preferred
