Commercial Counsel

You will collaborate with various teams to support business initiatives across MENA and globally, monitor legal developments in the digital asset space, and mentor junior lawyers. This role requires 3-6 years of PQE in loan/finance transactions from a reputable law firm or in-house organization, a strong understanding of commercial contracts, and familiarity with MENA legal frameworks. Requirements

• 3-6 years PQE, with direct experience in loan/finance transactions gained from a global law firm or well-regarded in-house organisation
• Strong understanding and experience with drafting and analysing commercial contracts
• Familiarity with MENA legal frameworks, particularly in UAE and Bahrain

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate digital asset loan agreements, including with traditional financial institutions and other digital asset organisations
• Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial contracts in the general digital asset space, including anything from fiat ramps to marketing agreements
• Support day-to-day commercial contracting, including service agreements and customer/supply side documents
• Work closely and in harmony with product, operations, admin and risk teams to enable existing and new business initiatives across MENA and globally
• Monitor, interpret and provide updates on developments in the digital asset space in MENA
• Help uplift and train our junior lawyers
