Commercial Counsel

Summary

StackAdapt is seeking a senior-level attorney for the Commercial Counsel, Enterprise Alliances role. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of ad-tech legal experience, with a focus on deal support, commercial contracts, data, privacy, advertising technology and artificial intelligence matters. This individual will be a key member of the Legal team and close partner to the Revenue team, driving commercial transactions to close while ensuring compliance with legal and operational standards.

Requirements

• Practical, business-minded lawyer with at least 10+ years’ relevant experience in an inhouse or reputable firm setting; US experience is preferred
• Call to the Bar in one or more Canadian Provinces or one or more US states, with active license to practice law in such jurisdiction(s)
• In house experience in advertising, technology, ad tech, data, or media company

Responsibilities

• Structure, negotiate and draft a wide range of commercial agreements, including major customer and alliance agreements
• Provide legal advice to key stakeholders on commercial and legal matters within the business
• Provide thought leadership internally and externally
