Join The CAM Collective as a Relationship Manager and cultivate strong partnerships with the Presidents of our Portfolio Companies. You will serve as a key point of contact, fostering collaboration and ensuring the successful implementation of mutually agreed-upon initiatives. This position requires analytical skills, business acumen, and exceptional relationship management abilities to contribute to the financial success of our Portfolio Companies and the overall growth of The CAM Collective.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in relationship management, account management, business development, or a related client-facing role
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and connect it to business opportunities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly and persuasively convey complex information to executive-level stakeholders
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships and build trust quickly
  • Understanding of business finance principles and drivers of profitability
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple relationships effectively, and prioritize tasks
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with the Presidents of assigned Portfolio Companies
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic discussions focused on improving financial performance and identifying market opportunities for margin enhancement through Fee Schedule optimization
  • Develop a deep understanding of each Member Company's business model, service offerings, operational nuances, and strategic goals
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including those generating market analysis and fee schedule insights, to understand relevant data and trends
  • Translate complex data analysis into clear, concise, and actionable options for margin enhancement for presentation to Member Company Presidents
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations outlining potential strategies, associated benefits (e.g., increased profit margins), and potential considerations
  • Present options without force, respecting the autonomy of each Member Company President while guiding discussions towards mutually beneficial outcomes in margin improvement
  • Utilize market-relevant information and internal performance data to identify specific areas where Portfolio Companies can enhance their profit margins. This may involve fee structure structure, service delivery models, or operational efficiencies
  • Work collaboratively with Member Company Presidents to explore and refine potential strategies, ensuring alignment with their overall business objectives
  • Monitor the progress and impact of implemented strategies, providing ongoing support and adjustments as needed to achieve margin enhancement goals
  • Work closely with operations, finance, and leadership teams within The CAM Collective to align on strategies and ensure the availability of necessary resources to support Member Company initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with Member Company Presidents, providing regular updates and fostering a collaborative environment focused on achieving shared objectives
  • Serve as a conduit for feedback from Portfolio Companies, helping internal teams understand the practical implications of their analyses and recommendations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the community association management (CAM) industry
  • Familiarity with financial statements and basic accounting principles
  • Experience working with C-level executives
  • Knowledge of operational efficiency strategies
