Communications Intern

Summary

Join Keeper Security, a rapidly growing cybersecurity company, as a Communications Intern this Spring/Summer! This 100% remote internship (with hybrid options for Chicago-area candidates) offers valuable experience assisting the marketing department with advertising and promotional efforts. You will support the Communications team on daily tasks and projects, including content creation and media updates. The role requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and familiarity with creating social media content. A related BS or master's degree is preferred. Requirements

• Current enrollment in a related BS or master’s degree is preferred
• Basic working knowledge of Google and Microsoft Office Products

Responsibilities

• Support the Communications team with projects and daily tasks, including updating and maintaining media page, content creation for social media, announcement planning and execution, and writing for PR and internal communications
• Exhibit a high level of professionalism and creative thinking
• Show a strong desire to learn along with a drive to succeed in assigned tasks
• Must have a strong desire to learn and professional drive to succeed
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail and be personable and dependable
• Familiarity with drafting internal and/or external communications content including employee memos, press releases and media advisories
• Experience creating engaging social media content
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Ability to assist in administrative duties including updating media page on website
• Interest in learning social media and traditional media analytics and performance metrics
