Summary
Join MeridianLink as a Sr. Manager of Internal Communications and lead the development and execution of internal communication strategies. You will revamp and manage the company intranet, ensuring content is current and relevant. Collaborate with senior leadership and other departments to ensure effective information flow and promote employee engagement. This management-level role requires experience in internal communications, content creation, and intranet management. You will analyze employee engagement data and provide recommendations for improvement. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a managerial or senior role
- Writing, editing, and content creation skills with the ability to craft clear, compelling messages for a wide variety of audiences
- Experience in managing and revamping intranet platforms or internal digital communications tools
- Understanding of change management and employee engagement strategies
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen attention to detail and deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders, teams, and employees
- Experience with analytics tools to measure communication effectiveness and employee engagement
- Intranet Expertise: Deep experience with modern intranet technologies (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, etc.)
- Organizational Excellence: Demonstrated excellent organizational skills, ensuring projects are on track and aligned with business objectives
- Innovative Problem-Solving: Exhibited solution-minded thinking and innovative problem-solving skills, ensuring roadblocks are addressed promptly
- Ability to meet deadlines while delivering high-quality results
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive internal communications strategy that aligns with the organization’s business objectives and promotes employee engagement
- Oversee the content strategy for the intranet through leading the redesign, restructuring, and ongoing management of the Company’s intranet platform
- Establish governance guidelines for the intranet to ensure accuracy, relevance, and consistency across all content
- Develop communication plans for major corporate events, initiatives, and changes, ensuring that all employees are well-informed and engaged
- Collaborate with HR to lead efforts to measure employee engagement through surveys, focus groups, and other feedback mechanisms
- Analyze data and provide recommendations on how to improve internal communications and increase employee engagement
- Foster an environment of two-way communication by promoting channels for employee feedback and open dialogue
- Lead regular check-ins and brainstorming sessions with leadership to ensure all communication is strategically aligned
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on internal communication best practices and trends
- Partner with HR, IT, Legal, and other departments to ensure alignment of internal communication strategies with broader organizational goals
- Execute communication plans for organizational changes as needed
