Communications Specialist

Requirements

• 2 years' experience with writing and producing content and social media for a professional organization
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Understanding of social media, and blog content production
• Understanding of editing, style, and grammar
• Experience producing content for a non-profit, startup, or growing business
• Experience with short-form video and video content production
• Strong organization, time management, and planning skills
• Interpersonal Skills: Building relationships, trust, and rapport with Customers
• News judgment – understanding of what’s topical, interesting, and current
• Adaptability: Staying flexible and adjusting to changing dynamics and new tasks
• Ability to meet at least twice per week for live discussion of projects, goals and timelines

Responsibilities

• Conceptualizing and drafting social media copy and content for aiEDU’s linkedin page
• Creating a weekly calendar of posts for brand account + resharing by team
• Highlighting social media opportunities for aiEDU team
• Under direction, write and conceptualize blog posts (written) and video (in the future) for aiEDU web page and blog
• Create content to support aiEDU’s communications team
• Assorted research, writing and comms associated tasks to support larger initiatives such as curriculum roll out, AI framework roll out, etc. at discretion of Communications Director
