Summary
Join the North American Total Rewards team at Bosch and contribute to the development and management of compensation and benefits programs for 16,000 employees across the US. This role involves driving core compensation cycles, maintaining compensation bands, providing guidance on compensation issues, conducting market benchmarking, analyzing data, ensuring compliance with regulations, and conducting job audits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compensation analysis, financial analysis, or quantitative data analysis, along with advanced data analysis and MS Excel skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field that involves quantitative analysis
- 5+ years of Compensation Analysis, Financial Analysis or Quantitative Data Analysis experience
- 5+ years of advanced data analysis and MS Excel experience
- 1+ years experience developing and implementing scalable processes with documentation
Responsibilities
- Drive core compensation cycles such as Annual Salary Review and Annual Bonus programs, including data validation, system testing, process improvement and education of People Business Partners
- Own and maintain compensation bands utilizing external data sources and market benchmarking to ensure competitiveness and alignment with our compensation philosophy
- Counsel and guide on standard and complex compensation issues involving the interpretation and application of federal and state regulations, policies, and procedures
- Support in conducting market benchmarking and complete survey submissions including evaluation of current survey providers, peer group assessment, and ensuring consistent market matching practices
- Independently conduct analyses on large sets of data and provide data backed recommendations to support in developing and administering effective compensation programs
- Ensure company compliance with relevant laws and regulations including consultation on FLSA and other DOL regulations, plan document compliance, and audits
- Conduct job audits, evaluations, and maintain job documentation
- Work independently to keep apprised of federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations, and research and recommend optimizations to compensation initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional working knowledge of Access preferred
- Curiosity towards digital technologies, such as Power BI, Power Automate
- Strong planning, communication/consulting, organizational and project management skills; ability to influence and coach
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated change readiness and partner in cultural and organizational transformation
- Business and customer oriented; flexible and efficient
