Summary

Join Pax8 as a Senior Compensation Analyst and play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing compensation programs to attract, retain top talent. You will conduct comprehensive analyses of compensation data, evaluate market trends, and make recommendations to ensure competitive strategies aligned with organizational objectives. This role requires balancing innovation and automation using AI-powered tools to automate job evaluations, market benchmarking, and salary adjustments. You will also design and implement AI tooling, utilize predictive analytics, and leverage AI for comprehensive compensation analysis and automated pay equity analysis. Additionally, you will experiment with AI-enhanced incentive plans and ensure compliance through automated monitoring. Your work will directly contribute to creating a high-performance culture where employees feel valued and motivated.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Compensation Analyst or similar role, with at least 5 years of experience in compensation analysis and program design
  • Exposure to a Global, technology environment with M&A experience
  • Strong understanding of compensation principles, practices, and regulations
  • In-depth knowledge of job evaluation methodologies, salary survey analysis, and market benchmarking
  • Proficiency in using compensation survey tools (e.g., MarketPay), HRIS systems (Workday), equity platforms (Shareworks) and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and modeling
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights and recommendations
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex compensation concepts to diverse audiences
  • Ability to take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of curiosity, urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm
  • Ability to secure and deploy resources effectively and efficiently
  • Ability to operate effectively, even when things are not certain, or the way forward is not clear
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

  • Conduct job evaluations and market benchmarking to create and maintain accurate salary ranges, structures, and job architecture across various job families and levels
  • Analyze and interpret salary survey data, market trends, and competitive practices to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness of compensation programs
  • Recommend adjustments to salary ranges/structures, and architecture based on market data, industry standards, and organizational goals
  • Ensure proper maintenance, evaluation and evolution of Pax8 job architecture
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of compensation data for current employees as well as M&A integrations, including base pay, incentives, bonuses, and equity, to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement; summarizes potential costs and makes recommendations
  • Analyze compensation-related metrics, such as pay equity, pay for performance, and cost projections, and provide insights and recommendations to drive decision-making
  • Collaborate with Finance and other stakeholders to develop annual compensation budgets, forecasts, and long-term projections
  • Brainstorm and create efficiency driven process and AI tooling improvements to elevate the operational aspects of managing the day-to-day compensation tasks (workflows, approvals, reporting, data loads)
  • Administer compensation programs, including annual focal salary increases, incentive plans, bonus structures, and equity programs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our compensation programs are aligned with IPO requirements, including disclosure obligations, equity plan considerations, and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and other stakeholders to educate and advise managers and employees on compensation-related matters, policies, and programs
  • Prepare and deliver clear and concise presentations, reports, and communications to senior leadership and executive teams
  • Support the development and delivery of compensation training programs and materials to enhance understanding and awareness among managers and employees
  • Drive your own personal development and performance improvements by participating in learning paths on Elev8, taking part in Pax8 L&D programs, receiving peer or managers coaching, taking on stretch projects or on the job training

Preferred Qualifications

Professional certifications such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar are a plus
