Competitive Proposals Associate

Summary

Join StartupBlink, a global startup ecosystem map and research center, as a full-time remote contractor. Work from anywhere in the European time zone, contributing to the creation of analysis and consulting reports, research, and outreach interviews related to startup ecosystems and economic development. You will also assist in writing, following up on, and applying for tender projects. This role requires experience in writing winning proposals, managing EU-funded projects, and building strategic partnerships. Excellent communication and a strong understanding of startup ecosystems are essential. Requirements

• Track record of writing and winning competitive proposals/bids related to startups, entrepreneurship, innovation and ecosystem development
• Extensive experience in applying for, preparing, and managing EU-funded projects
• Proven ability to build strategic partnerships and form effective consortiums to collaborate on complex projects and secure funding opportunities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing detailed reports and presentations
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with occasional after-hours deadlines
• Knowledge of startup ecosystems, venture capital, and economic development strategies
• Full command of English at a professional level

Preferred Qualifications

• Spanish, French, or Portuguese
• Excellent communication, negotiation, interviewing, and presentation skills
• Strong understanding and interest in startups, corporate innovation programs, and startup ecosystems and their stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically about economic growth and development, with the capacity to develop and propose actionable, impactful strategies
