Summary

Join Bitstamp's US Compliance team as a Compliance Analyst - student and contribute to governance, regulatory reporting, licensing, and other administrative legal/compliance tasks. You will assist in AML reviews and investigations, identifying and reporting suspicious activities, and coordinating regulatory examinations. Requirements

  • Legal and/or Compliance background
  • Interest in crypto industry
  • Collaborative, fast learning and and open-minded characteristics
  • Computer proficiency, especially MS Office
  • Excellent knowledge of English language (written and verbal)

Responsibilities

  • Assist on performing AML Reviews/Investigations of account activity, and recommending the filing of Suspicious Activity Reports (β€œSARs”)
  • Help identifying, reporting suspicious activity and/or mitigating risks in a timely manner
  • Assist on reviews, investigation and documentation of the disposition of cases escalated from various sources
  • Assist on coordination and preparation for regulatory examinations, ensuring all necessary documentation and materials are organized and accessible
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide requested information during regulatory exams and promptly address any inquiries
  • Maintain comprehensive records of exam findings and corrective action plans
  • Assist in the implementation of required improvements of the BSA/AML Program
  • Support the compliance team with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed
