Summary

Binance is hiring an experienced and highly-motivated Money Laundering Reporting Officer to oversee compliance activities in Turkey. The MLRO will develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance programs, monitor internal controls, liaise with regulatory bodies, conduct risk assessments, and provide training to staff. A bachelor's degree, 5 years of experience in compliance or related fields, extensive knowledge of Turkey, exceptional communication skills, strong analytical abilities, fluency in English and Turkish, and leadership capabilities are required.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance, AML/CFT, or regulatory affairs
• Extensive knowledge of and experience in Turkey
• Exceptional communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in English and Turkish
• Distinguished leadership capabilities and experience in managing cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance programs in line with regional and international regulations
• Monitor and review internal controls to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies
• Liaise and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and manage any regulatory inquiries and reporting obligations for the organization
• Coordinate with global compliance teams to align compliance objectives, processes, and goals
• Conduct ongoing risk assessments to identify potential gaps in the compliance framework and develop action plans to address identified areas of risk
• Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance-related matters
• Implement continuous improvement to the compliance program's effectiveness
