Compliance Onboarding Associate

Summary

Join OpenPayd as a Merchant Compliance Officer to carry out due diligence on prospective corporate clients, identify areas of improvement in the due diligence processes, onboard customers with complex structures, conduct assessments of regulated businesses, review AML Compliance programs, and prepare escalations. Requirements

• An in-depth knowledge and experience of merchant compliance
• The ability to self-manage, organise competing priorities effectively and meet deadlines
• Experience of working in fintech is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability and attention to detail
• Good inter-personal skills
• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing, and in particular be able to present credibly and professionally to senior management
• Able to build strong relationships with peers and business counterparts

Responsibilities

• Carry out due diligence on prospective corporate clients in accordance with policies
• Help in other compliance tasks
• Proactively identify and share areas of improvement in the due diligence processes and procedures
• Onboard customer with complex structures in high-risk verticals – Crypto, Gaming, Financial services
• Conduct in depth assessments of regulated business, liaise with the legal team to assess licencing requirements
• Review the adequacy of the AML Compliance program associated with customer subject to Money Laundering Regulations
• Prepare escalations, and make recommendations for consideration by the MLRO
