Summary

The job is for an eCommerce Compliance Assistant who will research laws and regulations related to eCommerce, become familiar with Amazon policies, draft compliance documents, collaborate with internal departments, manage workload, and act as a key point of contact for daily requests. The role requires 1-4 years of regulatory/compliance experience.

Requirements

• 1-4 year of regulatory/compliance experience
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), presentation, and listening skills
• Ability to contribute at all levels of the business, from high-level strategy to day-to-day hands-on operations
• Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and multiple internal teams
• Ability to manage heavy workloads, prioritize work appropriately and meet deadlines
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills including strong attention to detail
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Researches laws and regulations related to the advertising, labeling, and selling of consumer goods on interstate commerce, such as FDA and EPA regulations
• Researches and becomes familiar with Amazon policies to help Amazon sellers stay in compliance with Amazon guidelines
• Under the supervision of legal counsel, drafts Amazon appeals, Plans of Action, and relevant documents to resolve compliance issues
• Collaborates with internal departments to resolve compliance issues and develop strategies for preventing future compliance cases
• Opens and manages new cases with Amazon Seller Support to resolve escalated issues
• Acts as a key point of contact for managing and addressing daily requests from internal departments and company clients
• Assists legal counsel with gathering, tracking, managing, and preparing documents for compliance investigations
