Requirements

• 2+ years building with Power BI, including report/dashboard creation, modeling, and data transformation
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem and how it integrates with Power BI
• Deep expertise in DAX, SQL, Power Query, and data modeling best practices
• Experience with Azure Data Services and other Microsoft data sources
• Experience working in an agile software environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills – comfortable presenting technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Must reside within the United States
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
• Must be able to pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Partner with Trility clients, taking them from “napkin to production.”
• Listen to their challenges with empathy while using your unique problem-solving skills to discover the right approach and deliver value throughout the engagement
• Play a key role in accelerating report development to keep pace with rapidly evolving data models – transforming complex datasets into meaningful, actionable insights through efficient, high-quality reporting solutions
• Jump in midstream, work independently, and build high-quality, efficient solutions using tools like Power BI, Paginated Reports, DAX, and SQL
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Power BI
• Design and develop interactive, user-friendly Power BI reports and dashboards that meet client specifications
• Build and maintain a large number of Power BI Paginated Reports based on existing SSRS reports; deep experience with paginated reporting is essential
• Integrate Power BI with various data sources within the Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft Fabric , SQL Server, and others, ensuring seamless data connectivity and processing
• Leverage Microsoft Fabric Semantic Models to enhance Power BI solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance
• Implement data modeling, transformation, and visualization best practices within Power BI to promote data accuracy and integrity
• Employ best practices in information security for cloud-based data environments
