Summary

Join our team as an Agency Recruitment Consultant, working remotely with occasional client visits. You will be responsible for the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to placing them in suitable roles and managing client relationships. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and sales skills, along with proficiency in using recruitment software and social media for candidate sourcing. Business-level fluency in both English and Japanese is essential. A background in recruitment or sales is preferred, and a Bachelor's degree is a plus. The salary range is $40,000-$70,000 per year.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in recruitment, staffing, or a sales-related role preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with candidates, clients, and team members
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and candidates simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail
  • Proven ability to meet targets and thrive in a competitive environment
  • Ability to think quickly and resolve issues effectively during the recruitment process
  • Comfortable using recruitment software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and social media platforms for sourcing candidates
  • Business-level Japanese and English communication skills (both verbal and written)

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their hiring needs and business objectives
  • Proactively search for qualified candidates using job boards, social media, networking, and other sources
  • Screen resumes and conduct interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit
  • Match candidates with job opportunities and manage the placement process from offer negotiation to start date
  • Ensure a seamless recruitment process by handling administrative duties such as scheduling interviews, gathering feedback, and providing regular updates to clients
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and maintain accurate records of all candidate and client interactions
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, salary expectations, and other market factors to advise clients and candidates effectively
  • Proactively seek out new business opportunities by identifying potential clients, developing leads, and engaging in sales activities to grow the company's client base
  • Conduct prospecting activities, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • Prior experience in a staffing agency or recruitment firm
