Summary

Join Avantia Law, a leading legal services innovator, as an experienced Lawyer on a flexible consultancy basis. Spearhead the negotiation of engagement letters and other commercial contracts, managing the entire process from initial review to execution. Collaborate with fellow lawyers and paralegals in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This fully remote role requires a minimum 20-hour weekly commitment, Monday to Friday. Requirements

• Licensed to practice Law in the UK, Europe, USA or Canada
• 5+ years’ relevant legal experience and experienced with Engagement Letters and NDAs, preferably inhouse

Responsibilities

• Spearhead the negotiation of engagement letters and other commercial contracts
• Manage every phase of the contract process—from initial review and negotiation, guided by client playbooks, all the way through to document execution
• Work closely with fellow Avantia lawyers and paralegals
• Dive into fast-paced, high-volume negotiations, collaborating directly with counterparties while ensuring rapid turnaround times

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity of working with asset managers, investment banks or other financial services firms
