Summary

Requirements

  • Experience configuring and solutioning on the Salesforce platforms with exposure to end-to-end project implementation lifecycles
  • Experience gathering and authoring system requirements and preparing supporting system documentation, e.g., business process models, requirements specifications, etc
  • Understanding and familiar with the following: Core project management concepts
  • Data modeling
  • Delivery best practices and methods
  • Configuration/deployment/release management
  • Salesforce Admin certification and/or equivalent certifications and experience
  • Salesforce Platform App Builder certification
  • Veeva CRM Certified
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to seamlessly connect and translate between technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent multitasking and prioritization abilities, capable of handling tasks related to multiple customer engagements at the same time
  • A desire to pursue additional, relevant certifications and applicable learning opportunities

Responsibilities

  • Advise and deliver on customer engagements
  • Successfully deliver and/or support customer solutions
  • Provide assistance and direction on customer engagements, escalations, and complex customer use cases both internally and externally
  • Follow release processes consistently across customer engagements
  • Align closely with sales, product engineering, and delivery teams to support pipeline growth as needed
  • Lead and/or contribute to the configuration of solutions for multiple customer projects, delivering on customer requirements and enhancing customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their business challenges, technology needs, and strategic goals
  • Lead requirement-gathering sessions with business users
  • Document business requirements using user stories, process flows, and supporting documentation
  • Configure customer-facing solutions based on customer requirements, including structural and functional applications, troubleshooting errors, manipulating data, and transformations, all the while utilizing new and familiar tools throughout
  • Document and implement configuration changes and data-mapping requirements
  • Support and participate in customer presentations and design reviews to build strong working relationships with clients and analyze feedback to ensure alignment
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure solutions function as intended
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize the development lifecycle
  • Research and recommend emerging tools, frameworks, and methodologies to improve efficiency
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends, advising customers on their potential applications
  • Research and prototype new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to deliver innovative customer solutions
  • Collaborate with other teams and consultants to align technical solutions with business objectives, share knowledge, and develop best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Life Sciences, pharmaceutical, and/or healthcare industry consulting experience
  • Skilled in using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar documentation platforms to create clear and detailed user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and other project artifacts
  • Familiar with Agile practices and iterative development cycles, including sprint planning and backlog management
  • Hands-on experience in executing system testing and defect tracking
