Requirements
- 8+ years of finance management consulting with a focus on finance transformation or finance process improvement, or financial reporting experience with a focus on drafting financial statements
- Significant reporting experience in one of the following areas: SEC/SEDAR Financial Reporting, Management Reporting, Operational Reporting, GSR Reporting, ESG Reporting, Private Company Reporting
- Knowledge of financial reporting in Workiva and technical competency in one or more of the following areas: record-to-report, general accounting, external reporting/SEC reporting and global Statutory reporting
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team of problem solvers to help finance and accounting executives at multi-billion-dollar companies solve complex problems, from strategy through execution
- Design system architecture and personally execute the implementation of best-in-class Workiva platform models
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks, including engagement economics and project scope, while setting stakeholder expectations and meeting deadlines
- Develop executive-level presentations to communicate complex issues and recommendations across processes, systems, and people
- Conduct client training sessions to thoroughly educate them on features and functionalities of the Workiva platform
- Participate in sales cycles to showcase our expertise and conduct product demonstrations; assist with drafting Statements of Work (SOWs) and proposals to ensure our clients understand the value we bring
- Mentor and guide Analyst, Senior and Manager level team members to foster their professional growth and development
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) principles, leading practices, and execution (i.e., requirements gathering, solution design and testing cycles)
- Strong project management experience including workplan creation and updates, milestone tracking, risk management, status updates, change management, and communications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; clearly convey complex business concepts to executive audience free of grammatical errors, incorporating leading practices for business writing
- Strong leadership skills and executive presence
