Summary
Join BeatBox Beverages as their Consumer Insights Manager and play a pivotal role in driving consumer-centric decision-making. As a key member of the insights team, you will lead day-to-day operations, manage Consumer Insights Analyst(s), and uncover actionable insights through innovative research. You will manage research projects, deliver impactful findings to stakeholders, and synthesize data to understand consumer behavior. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and the Director of Category and Consumer Insights to align research with business goals. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in consumer insights or market research, preferably in CPG or alcoholic beverages, and strong expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a consumer insights or market research role, preferably within the CPG or alcoholic beverage industry (5+ years experience required)
- Strong expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Experience managing and developing team members
- Proficiency in managing research vendors and using DIY research platforms
- A collaborative mindset with a passion for understanding consumer behavior and influencing business strategy
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor Consumer Insights Analyst(s), fostering professional development and ensuring the delivery of high-quality insights
- Design, execute, and oversee qualitative and quantitative research studies using a variety of methodologies
- Collaborate with external research vendors to ensure timely and accurate project delivery; manage DIY research tools for efficient execution of smaller-scale projects
- Present research findings and actionable recommendations to cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to influence strategic initiatives
- Synthesize primary and secondary data sources to provide a holistic view of consumer behavior, preferences, and trends in the alcoholic beverage market
- Partner with the Director of Category and Consumer Insights to align research initiatives with business goals and category strategies
- Identify opportunities to innovate and enhance the consumer insights function, ensuring best practices and cutting-edge methodologies are utilized
Preferred Qualifications
- Management experience is a plus
- Expert in Microsoft Excel. Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides
- Experience with Numerator is a plus
- Preferred degrees include Business, Mathematics, Economics, or Data Analytics
Benefits
Salary: $90K-$112,500k + bonus
