Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 4+ years of professional (non-internship) experience in social media marketing and content creation
- Deep knowledge of social media platforms—especially Instagram, TikTok, Twitch—and how to leverage each effectively
- Strong portfolio of content that demonstrates impact, virality, and engagement
- Demonstrated ability to create content with measurable impact (metrics, engagement, follower growth, etc.)
- Solid writing and editing skills—short-form and long-form
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute content strategies tailored for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Twitch
- Bridge generational and cultural gaps with engaging, relevant messaging
- Conceptualize and lead photoshoots and video production; collaborate with content creators when needed
- Source and curate original and found content aligned with brand identity and target audience
- Own community management efforts; foster meaningful engagement and manage tools like Sprout Social or Sprinklr
- Write and edit copy that reflects each brand's voice—witty, authentic, and on-point
- Track performance using analytics tools; iterate based on insights to improve engagement and reach
- Collaborate across design, marketing, and product teams to ensure consistency and storytelling alignment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience localizing global campaigns for niche or regional audiences
- Comfortable writing for multiple channels: email, landing pages, newsletters, paid ads, and organic social
- Strong project management skills, able to juggle multiple priorities in a startup environment
- Familiarity with analytics dashboards and reporting to inform content strategies
