Summary

Join Ostrom, Europe’s leading energy management platform, as a Social Media & Content Creator to grow and engage online communities. You will define and execute the editorial strategy, lead campaigns, manage the online community, and shape Ostrom’s creative content vision. The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller and design expert with experience using AI tools and a passion for sustainability. You will be responsible for managing social media channels, creating content, collaborating with the marketing team, and building relationships with industry experts. Based in Berlin or able to be in the office regularly, you will need 3-5 years of experience in social media management and content creation, excellent German and English skills, and strong analytical thinking skills. Requirements

• 3 - 5 years of practical experience in social media management, digital media, and content creation
• You are based in Berlin or can be in the office to create content regularly
• Digital native with experience in social media, community management, and organic channel strategies
• You have excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking with a sense for meaningful and actionable data for the marketing team
• Mastery of video editing (Capcut, Descript)
• Independent and self-reliant work, combined with a quick understanding of the subject matter
• You are able to navigate in a fast-paced environment
• Solid time management
• You enjoy interdisciplinary work, value close teamwork, and like to share best practices and learnings from the social media field
• Passion for sustainability and interest in renewable energy

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage our social media strategy
• You are responsible for the growth of all organic social channels: Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit, TikTok, YouTube, etc
• You are the face of the company as our internal creator and brand ambassador
• You have creative thinking and stay on top of trends, recognizing where Ostrom can be ahead of the curve
• You independently shoot and edit videos and create content with Figma, CapCut, Descript, Canva, Open AI Image and Midjourney
• Work closely with the Performance Marketing team to create the best posts and achieve goals
• Write blog posts on sustainability and renewable energy topics and proofread English and German texts
• Develop and implement reports on key social media KPIs to analyze content quantitatively and qualitatively
• Build collaborative relationships with industry experts and influencers
• You are responsible for the entire community management of the respective platforms and, as the owner, respond to comments, customer reviews, and more
• Research best practices in the social media environment and identify new potential for existing and new channels

Preferred Qualifications

• Someone with a background in or good understanding of the German energy industry and sustainability topics
• Someone who enjoys coming to the office and motivates people to participate in videos
• Experience in animation or motion design for social media
• Worked with AI tools like Veo Replicate, Flux, ComfyUI, Stable Diffusion, Suno, etc
• Experience in a startup environment
