Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for creating engaging video and illustrated content
  • A strong understanding of the B2B SAAS product marketing lifecycle
  • A strong desire to learn and succeed in supporting cannabis operations
  • Creative, content-driven methods for communicating complex ideas in an easy to understand way
  • The ability to quickly grasp new information and demonstrate understanding of complex supply chain dynamics
  • Independent work habits, are diligent with planning, and detail oriented
  • A good sense of humor and a desire to have fun :)
  • Minimum 5 years experience using software for creative content (Adobe Creative Suite products, Figma, or similar tools.)
  • Minimum 3 years experience in B2B SAAS content marketing
  • Previous CRM experience (Hubspot is a plus)
  • Comfortable speaking to an audience and being β€˜the face’ on videos

Responsibilities

  • Envision and create content that communicates core Distru value propositions, while staying on brand with our culture and voice
  • Submit content on a routine schedule, with a set plan of content to be delivered over a predetermined period of time
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, cannabis operation workflows, and customer product needs
  • Build an understanding of our customer profiles and ideal prospects, tailored to the individual needs of different cannabis business structures and state-specific regulations
  • Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Sales to tailor our content to best fit the needs of our customers and prospects
  • Collaborate with our Customer Success and Sales teams to conduct market research, connect with our customers, and understand their product education needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Adobe After Effects & Adobe Premiere (or similar software combinations) to create engaging visual content
  • Experience with 3D computer graphics softwareΒ (Blender, Unity, 3DS Max, Autodesk). This includes 3D asset creation, keyframing, and rendering
  • Experience in the cannabis industry, preferably within the B2B supply chain
