Content Marketing Intern

Summary

Join Sojern as a Content Marketing Intern and gain hands-on experience in content creation, digital marketing, and brand building. This part-time, paid internship (20 hours/week) allows for remote work and runs from June 1st to August 31st. You will create engaging content for various platforms, conduct market research, brainstorm ideas, and analyze content performance. Responsibilities include managing social media, assisting with PR, and optimizing content for SEO. The ideal candidate is a recent graduate or current student in a related field with strong communication skills and a passion for creative content.

Requirements

• Recent college graduate or current enrollment in a program for Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
• A passion for storytelling and a love for all things creative
• Stellar communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for turning ideas into compelling content
• Tech-savvy with a basic understanding of content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms
• A curious mind with a hunger for learning and a willingness to take on new challenges
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Channel your inner wordsmith to create content for blogs, social media, emails, and more
• Dive into research on industry trends, competitor analysis, and customer insights to inform content strategy
• Brainstorm with the team to generate fresh ideas and bring them to life through your writing
• Keep a close eye on the performance of our content across different platforms
• Assist in maintaining content calendars to ensure consistent delivery of content across our various platforms
• Help optimize content for SEO by incorporating relevant keywords and meta tags
• Assist in managing social media accounts and coming up with creative ways to reach our audiences
• Provide support for PR activities, such as press/media list creation and journalist follow up and LinkedIn content creation
• Work closely with the Content Marketing Manager and Segment Marketing Teams

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Adobe, Asana, Webflow, SproutSocial, and/or Google Products
