Requirements

  • 5-8 years of content marketing experience — ideally within B2B SaaS startups
  • Write and edit high-quality content in a variety of formats and styles while adhering to AP Style guidelines
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing external vendors
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product marketing, growth marketing, sales, design, and customer success teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a wide range of content, including blogs, white papers, case studies, press releases, award submissions, and video scripts, ensuring all materials reflect Troop’s brand voice and resonate with target audiences
  • Create high-quality, engaging narratives for digital platforms and for speaking opportunities to drive thought leadership and audience engagement
  • Partner with internal teams to understand content needs and ensure they align with business priorities, creating a strategy that supports both short- and long-term goals
  • Maintain a clear content calendar to coordinate campaigns, track performance, and adjust plans based on performance data, competitive research and industry insights
  • Collaborate with external vendors, including designers, videographers, researchers, and other content creators
  • Oversee the production of high-quality, engaging content by providing clear briefs, guidelines, and constructive feedback to vendors
  • Ensure timely delivery of content projects while adhering to budget and quality standards
  • Own and refine Troop’s brand voice, tone, and style guidelines, ensuring consistency across all content channels and campaigns
  • Train and guide internal and external contributors to ensure consistency across all content
  • Work with Customer Success to uncover and showcase customer success stories, creating case studies, testimonials, and advocacy-driven content
  • Develop community-driven content and campaigns to strengthen user engagement, build loyalty, and amplify customer achievements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency with software tools and CRMs, including Notion, Figma, Google Workspace, and HubSpot
  • Experience developing and enforcing brand voice and style guidelines
  • Expertise in leveraging SEO tools and applying SEO best practices to content strategy
  • Background in journalism or editorial work

  • Compensation : The range is between $75,000 - $90,000. The final salary offer will depend on various factors unique to each candidate. These factors include educational background, specific skills, and professional experience. Additionally, the scope of the role and the candidate's geographic location will also be considered. All of these elements will be thoroughly evaluated during the selection process
