Summary

The Content Strategist will shape and drive the content strategy at Blackpoint Cyber, a cybersecurity company in hyper-growth mode. Responsibilities include managing the content calendar, creating short-form communications, overseeing long-form content production, and collaborating with the marketing team.

Requirements

• Is a trained and accomplished writer with a knack for delivering crisp, pithy and persuasive copy across a spectrum of mediums
• Has solid editorial chops
• Has a strong background in both long-form and short-form content creation
• Prior experience in the cybersecurity industry, with a solid understanding of the market and its nuances

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the comprehensive content strategy
• Manage and maintain the overall content calendar
• Create and refine short-form communications and nurture sequences
• Oversee the production of long-form content by outsourcing to qualified writers and editors
• Create and manage a watering hole strategy
• Collaborate closely with the marketing team and internal subject matter experts
• Serve as the editorial director to ensure consistent voice, tone and messaging of all content in market
• Maintain a distinctive voice and personality in all written content
• Provide thought leadership and clear POVs on content strategy

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience writing for the Managed Service Providers (MSPs) audience is a plus
• Background in product marketing is plus
