Summary
Join our marketing team as a Freelance B2B Content Strategist & Writer to cover a maternity leave from August 12, 2025, to January 10, 2026! This remote, flexible (30-40 hours/week) role focuses on creating engaging content about machine learning and conversational AI. Collaborate with product marketing, sales, and design teams to produce various content formats, including blog posts, ebooks, case studies, and social media copy. You will also support GTM campaigns and website updates. This contract position requires a strong B2B tech writing background and experience simplifying complex technical topics.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience writing for B2B tech audiences, ideally in SaaS or AI
- Proven ability to distill complex technical topics (ML, NLP, conversational AI) into clear, engaging content
- Strong editorial judgment and excellent command of tone and grammar
- Experience writing for both awareness and demand gen (TOFUβBOFU)
- Confident working independently and managing multiple content tracks
- Familiarity with growth marketing, SEO, and cross-channel content strategy
- Experience collaborating with product marketing, sales, and design teams
- Proficiency with tools like Google Docs, Asana, and CMS platforms
Responsibilities
- Write and edit high-quality content, including: 4-5 blog posts per month (e.g., thought leadership, partner announcements, SEO content)
- Campaign assets: ebooks, blueprints, case studies, press releases, landing pages, one-pagers
- Monthly newsletter (curation + editorial writing)
- Social media and email copy to support launches and campaigns
- Provide copy support for GTM campaigns, product launches, and website updates
- Edit and proofread public-facing content for clarity, tone, grammar, and brand consistency
- Support awards and speaker submission processes with compelling copy
- Track and update campaign docs, briefs, and project status in tools like Asana
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with or writing about open-source software or developer tools
