You will create various assets like blogs, articles, eBooks, and guides to drive engagement and support campaign goals. This role is crucial in amplifying Modern Campus's voice and showcasing customer success. You will write engaging content tailored to higher education decision-makers, align content with SEO best practices, and maintain a consistent brand voice. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in content writing, preferably in B2B SaaS or higher education. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in content writing, preferably in B2B SaaS or higher education sectors
  • Strong portfolio showcasing long-form and short-form content
  • Ability to translate complex topics into engaging and accessible narratives
  • SEO and keyword research experience
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms, marketing automation tools, and basic analytics
  • Understanding of the higher education market, including the roles and needs of academic and administrative staff
  • Experience writing for personas such as Enrollment Leaders, Provosts, Student Affairs professionals, or CE/Workforce Directors

Responsibilities

  • Create and optimize high-impact assets—from blogs and articles to eBooks, guides, and landing pages—that drive engagement, educate our audience, and support campaign goals across the learner-to-earner lifecycle
  • Write engaging, clear, and persuasive content tailored to higher education decision-makers including Marketing, Enrollment, Student Affairs, and Continuing Ed leaders
  • Support demand generation, product marketing, and customer marketing initiatives with content assets such as:Blog postsWeb copyProduct guides and sell sheetsEBooks and whitepapers
  • Align content with SEO best practices to increase organic traffic and search rankings
  • Collaborate with campaign managers to ensure messaging consistency across channels and lifecycle stages
  • Repurpose existing content into new formats (e.g., turning a whitepaper into a blog series or webinar deck)
  • Maintain a consistent tone and voice that aligns with Modern Campus’s brand—professional, higher ed fluent, and customer-obsessed
  • Integrate storytelling and data to illustrate product value, student impact, and institutional outcomes
