Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in federal contracting or subcontract management
- Demonstrated experience managing contracts and/or subcontracts for a federal contractor
- Experience interpreting and applying Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
- Proficiency with contract management tools, including DocuSign
- Strong knowledge of subcontract terms and conditions and their application in agreements
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role
Responsibilities
- Perform initial reviews of Teaming Agreements (TAs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Subcontracts (SubKs), and Service Agreements (SAs), ensuring they adhere to established templates and internal compliance standards
- Manage subcontractor relationships, including the administration of subcontracts and ensuring compliance with terms and conditions
- Review and edit contract terms and conditions to align with FAR requirements and internal policies
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address and resolve contract-related issues
- Maintain accurate records of all agreements and updates, using tools such as DocuSign to manage signature workflows and contract execution
- Provide guidance on the development and enforcement of contract policies and procedures, including best practices for subcontract management
- Conduct periodic reviews and audits of subcontractor compliance with agreed terms and conditions
- Support the preparation and review of modifications, amendments, and extensions to existing agreements
- Assist with risk assessment and mitigation strategies for contracts and subcontracts
- Prepare reports and provide insights on contracting activities and performance metrics to management
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in government contracting or related field (e.g., CPCM, CFCM)
- Experience with service agreements and contract modifications in a federal contracting environment
- Familiarity with the compliance requirements of the Department of Veterans Affairs or other federal agencies
