Join Care Access as a Contracts Manager and contribute to our mission of revolutionizing clinical trial access. You will draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and optimize contract management processes. The ideal candidate possesses strong contract law knowledge, negotiation skills, and experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) software. This remote position offers limited travel and requires proficiency in contract management software and the Microsoft Office Suite. Requirements
- Proven experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts
- Comprehensive understanding of contract law and legal terminology
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to effectively define business issues and recommendations
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- JD preferred or paralegal/contracts specialist with demonstrated history of excellence and 7+ years of experience
- This role requires 100% of work to be performed in a remote office environment and requires the ability to use keyboards and other computer equipment
- This is a remote position with less than 10% travel requirements
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including, but without limitation, confidentiality, vendor services, clinical trial, lease, and event agreements with limited supervision
- Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, HR, Global Expansion and Business Development teams on contract interpretation, guidance and risk mitigation strategies
- Develop and/or update contract templates, playbooks, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce risk
- Identify and implement contract management process improvements to increase efficiency, compliance and scalability
- Monitor contract obligations, renewals, and terminations to ensure business continuity and compliance
- Act as system administrator of IronClad, including creating and updating workflows
- Train and support internal stakeholders on CLM tools and contracting best practices
- Perform other legal tasks and special projects assigned by legal leadership from time to time
