Summary
Join Vanta as a Contracts Manager and manage and optimize the commercial contracting process across sales and vendor engagements. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of customer and vendor contracts, including NDAs, MSAs, DPAs, and related amendments. You will own and optimize the Ironclad CLM platform, triage and support inbound contract requests, review and process NDAs, support vendor contracting and procurement workflows, and track contract metrics and trends. This high-impact role supports a rapidly growing GTM organization and requires 3β5 years of experience in contracts management, legal operations, or commercial legal support. You will work closely with various teams, including Sales, RevOps, InfoSec, and G&A, to ensure efficient and low-risk deal closures. The role demands strong communication, stakeholder management, and process improvement skills.
Requirements
- 3β5 years of experience in contracts management, legal operations, or commercial legal support in-house (ideally in SaaS or B2B tech)
- High comfort level reviewing NDAs independently and quickly, with solid judgment for escalating deviations from standard positions
- Hands-on experience with CLM tools, especially Ironclad; experience collaborating through tools like Salesforce and Jira is a plus
- Familiarity with SaaS contracting terms, data privacy requirements, and vendor diligence flows
- You speak AI fluently and understand how it can speed legal processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills β you enjoy demystifying legal for business teams
- Organized, adaptable, and proactive about process improvement and scale
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of customer and vendor contracts, including NDAs, MSAs, DPAs, and related amendments
- Own and optimize the Ironclad CLM platform, including templates, workflows, automation, and reporting
- Triage and support inbound contract requests from Sales and RevOps, escalating legal issues as needed
- Review and process NDAs efficiently, using established playbooks to guide low-risk negotiations
- Support vendor contracting and procurement workflows in partnership with InfoSec, Finance, and business stakeholders
- Track contract metrics and trends, identify process improvements, and help implement automation tools to support scale
