Summary
Join Fieldwire's high-performing team as a Controller, contributing to the financial success of our global construction field management software. Based in San Francisco, CA or remotely, you will lead the finance operations team, ensuring operational excellence, accurate financial reporting, and compliance. You will be responsible for financial statement preparation, forecasting, audit preparation, and implementing internal controls. This role requires a Master's degree in a relevant field (CPA or CA preferred) and 3-5 years of experience in a multinational company. Requirements
- A masters degree in Finance / Economics/ Accounting / Business Administration/ International Management (CPA or CA preferred)
- 3-5 years of work experience in a multinational company, working in controlling, cost accounting, or as a business analyst
- Strong communication skills
- Analytic mindset
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office (especially excel)
Responsibilities
- Responsible for financial statements preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and month end close
- Work with our external accountants and manage the finance operations team within Hilti Fieldwire Inc. and partner with team members that support Fieldwire from the SSC in Tulsa, OK. and Schaan, Liechtenstein
- Create and implement relevant measurements and key metrics for business results and processes (Key Performance Indicators (KPIs))
- Implement, refine and enforce internal control processes
- Explore deviations to the forecast by creating transparency on cause and effect and make recommendations on corrective actions, maintaining the respective tracking
- Be the primary point of contact during our Audit, and ensure compliance throughout the year through internal controls developed with the VP of Finance & Operations
- Lead or participate in department, Regional and Global projects or tasks on an ongoing and/or as-needed basis
- Perform all GL Accounting functions related to period close, including but not limited to posting entries, reconciling accounts, variance analysis, and management reports
- Responsible for all Intercompany agreement accounting duties
- Accountable for effectively defining, planning, and implementing projects that achieve company objectives, productivity standards, and cost controls by understanding and defining cross functional requirements, documenting processes, training others, and being responsible for functional expertise, coaching, and mentoring
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Xero, SAP, Stripe, and Ramp is a plus
- Experience is SaaS is a plus
- Open for relocation as a next step in development
Benefits
- The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows: $146,000 - $178,500
- In addition to the salary you may be eligible for a corporate bonus which can range up to 20%
- This role is fully remote within the United States
