Financial Controller

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of experience as a controller or in a similar financial management role
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and tax laws
• Proficient in financial software and accounting systems
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Highly motivated and self-driven, with a strong sense of initiative

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and provide comprehensive financial reports, forecasts, and recommendations to the leadership team
• Manage and serve as the point of contact for finance and accounting vendors
• Oversee all finance and controlling activities, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, general ledger, compliance and auditing, and financial reports
• Supervise efficient and accurate payroll setup and processing
• Oversee stock based compensation accounting
• Manage monthly and yearly closing activities, including account reconciliations and preparation of financial statements
• Develop and maintain budgets
• Collaborate with tax advisors to ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Manage banking and investment relationships
• Establish internal finance and accounting policies and controls
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including GAAP and tax laws
• Oversee the company's accounting, finance, and payroll systems (Rippling, Carta, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications
