Summary

The job is for a detail-oriented Controller who will be responsible for preparing financial reports, maintaining the general ledger, assisting with tax filing preparations, and performing other accounting duties. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), strong financial analysis skills, Excel proficiency, and be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work independently.

Requirements

• Solid working knowledge of GAAP
• Strong financial analysis skills
• Strong Excel skills
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Ability to work independently
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Experience overseeing an accounting team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Sage Intacct preferred) and workflow management

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports
• Perform account reconciliations
• Maintain the general ledger
• Assist with tax filing preparations
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned
